What Splytin is
Splytin is a shared-expense record for couples, homes, trips, events, and one-off plans. It helps people record who paid, understand shares, and record settlements. It does not move money and it is not a bank, wallet, or payment processor.
Use it honestly
Use Splytin for lawful, ordinary shared expenses. Keep your account details secure and do not pretend to be another person. If you add a local person, use a name that helps your group understand the seat.
Accounts and device use
An account is the intended home for collaboration and sync. The product may also be used on a device without an account. The device path is not a promise of cloud backup, live sync, or account recovery.
Shared records
You are responsible for checking amounts and people before saving. Splytin displays calculations and settlement records to help the group; members remain responsible for agreeing what is owed and how money is actually transferred. Historical expenses are not silently deleted when a person is removed from new splits.
Availability
We aim to keep the service calm and useful, but no internet service can promise that every feature will be available at every moment. Offline use may continue on a device while sync waits for a connection.
Optional support
Splytin is free for life. Optional support does not unlock features. If you choose to donate, you leave Splytin for the separate payment destination described on the site.
