The short version
Splytin is designed to keep shared expenses clear, not to collect a life story. We use information needed to provide the service, keep accounts secure, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising in the app.
What we may receive
If you create an account, we may receive your name, email address, and the information you choose to place in a shared space. Local people can be added by name without an account. If you contact support, we receive the details you put in your message.
What we do with it
We use information to provide shared spaces, sync your account when you are signed in, keep the service secure, respond to support, and comply with applicable law. We do not use your expense history for marketing-as-utility, and we do not put amounts or receipts into marketing messages.
Your choices
You can use the product on this device without creating an account. You can ask about, correct, or delete personal information by writing to hello@splytin.app. Signing out does not silently delete the ledger on your device.
Third parties and payments
Splytin does not become a bank or payment processor. For optional support, the site may take you to pay.trecsa.in; payment details are handled there, not stored by Splytin.
